So to match the brightly colored party theme and the unseasonably warm weather, I wanted a brightly colored mani. I pulled up an image of the party theme online, and I saw the bright polka dots which were all over the napkins/table cloths, and I decided that is what had to go on my nails. Or at least a similar variation.
Here's what I came up with.....
This was the theme.....
Matched well, right?

I am new to using a dotting tool. I got it only a few months ago, and while it should be simple, to me, that's not always the case. You have to have the right amount of polish and you have to dab it just right on the nail otherwise your dots can be either too big or too little or crooked. I don't know it sometimes frustrates me. Who knows, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but they say practice makes perfect, right?
I love it!!!! Soooo reminds me of the candy dots! It def matches the theme! Loves it!
ReplyDeletePerfect matching nails! I have helped do a handful of surprise parties and I just think they're soooo fun! But- no one has ever thrown one for me. Sometimes it's a little sucky being the organizer. haha. Oh well. The best one I threw was for my dad's bday. It was at my house, he had NO CLUE and seriously just about sh*t his pants when he walked in and everyone jumped out from my hallway and kitchen. The look on his face was PERRRRRRRICELESS!
ReplyDeletePS: International (garden) Gnome Day was instituted in 2002 and is celebrated June 21st. It's coming right up!!
