Good Morning Polished World, and Happy almost Valentine's Day!! Also, happy blog-versary to me!! That's right, 8 years ago today, this little blog was formed. It is beyond shocking to me that I have stuck to this blog for that long. Sure, last year was a tad rocky, but I'm back. Maybe not better than ever, but I'm back! Thank you EVERYONE who has stood by me and followed me for this long. It seriously does not feel like it was that long ago.
Today's design is a re-creation of one of my all time favorite rose designs. I wanted to post another pink manicure before this one, but I got a lovely migraine the other night and just did not want to blog. Anywho, I remember years ago when I created this manicure that it took me a super long time to get everything just how I wanted it. Now, here I am, years later, re-creating a design that took close to three hours in just under an hour and a half. Now sure, an hour and a half seems long, but I was in the midst of playing an intense round of Candy Crush and I kind of abandoned the nails before my endless lives ran out.
Let's take a look at the manicure!
Good morning polished world! How are you all doing on this lovely, lovely, LOVELY Friday? Yes, it's a lovely Friday because tomorrow is Saturday meaning I finally get a day off after what seems to be the longest week ever! My to-do list at work is growing and growing and I feel like I'm never going to get caught up. I felt like this a few months ago and it turned around, so I'm expecting it to again. We shall see.
Today, I am super excited to be bringing you a Mani Swap! It's been forever since I've done a collaboration with another blogger. After seeing so many people doing them, I took to my Instagram story and asked who would be interested and I had some lovelies respond. One of them being @NailsBySammie_. I've been a fan of Sam's page for so long! Her nail art is so neat, her swatches are amazing, and I love all of her rings. Seriously, I really want to get me some rings for my manicure photos.

I forgot that I even owned "Spare Me A French Quarter?" by OPI. I really am questioning if I've ever used it before because when I opened it up the inside was perfectly clean like a brand new bottle. It's such a gorgeous shade that I would have completely forgotten about if it weren't for this mani swap! Two coats and full coverage. Honestly, you could get away with one coat of this beauty.
Hello all! A week later, and I am back to blogging. Last week I had some of the worst migraines. I honestly am shocked that I didn't overdose or at least get an ulcer with the amount of Advil I was taking. On Tuesday, I walked into Costco and the migraine hit me so hard that I had to lean against a display for a minute because I felt like I could pass out. I blame stress and the weather. Don't even get me started on the weather. Today, are in a high wind warning, so I'm praying that I don't lose power. Blah.
Anyways, today's nail art is what I actually wore on Valentine's Day. Wasn't a huge fan of the manicure, but I received a lot of compliments on it. I wore a very pretty black blouse with red roses on it for V-Day, so I wanted to have red roses on my nails to match it. I debated on doing a black base, but opted for the nude.

Good morning polished world! How are you all doing today? We are yet again to another Monday and a full work week. I'm actually happy that we are back to the normal schedule again. The past two weeks have been a complete cluster and I feel like I'm so behind. I did stay late on Friday and get some work done and made myself some lovely to-do lists for the week. Now hopefully I can get the work done with little to no interruptions. Who am I kidding, it's a Monday, everything crazy happens on a Monday.
So new year, same nail art. Maybe? Actually, new year, new nail polish. It's not new polish for other bloggers, but for me it is. A few months ago I purchased the China Glaze OMGFlashback Holo collection and never got around to using it. I used one polish then the others went on my untried shelf and never were touched. I'm kicking myself that it has taken so long, because now I've used two, and they both are equally amazing!!!!
Let's take a look at today's manicure!

Good morning polished world! How are you all doing on this fine Tuesday morning? It's going to be 64 degrees here with high winds. So you know, have to have that fear that the power is going to go out. Usually these November wind storms are good because they take the remainder of the leaves off the trees, but since it was 80 degrees in October, the leaves aren't even fully turned yet. It's such a weird year.
Now that Halloween is over, I'm back to posting regular nail art. You know, before I start posting Fall/Thanksgiving nails. And before you know it, we will be at Christmas manicures! Guys, I've bought so many Christmas dresses this year. I feel like such a nerd.
Anyways, today's design is one I'm on the fence about. Love the red, love the gold, but not sure if I love my roses.

Good morning polished world! How are you all doing on this wonderful Monday? Can you sense my sarcasm? Mondays are never wonderful. Who knows, maybe today will be the exception. Did everyone have a fun and safe St. Patrick's Day? I stayed home all day, then went out and bought a Nintendo Switch. You know, because that's a normal thing for an almost 30 year old to do. I've also spent an unhealthy amount of time playing The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, but it's just so amazing, how can I not? If I disappear from blogging, it's because of Zelda.
Since St. Patrick's Day is over, that means goodbye green, hello pastel Spring looking designs!! I actually painted this one around Valentine's Day but was holding out on posting it until we were getting closer to Spring/Easter. Now let's just hope that the weather gets warmer so I can truly start to get in the Spring mood.

Anywho, today's manicure is a cute rose design which I'm probably sure I have done in the past. I haven't done a rose manicure in a while, which kind of shocked me. I was really on a daisy kick this summer and ignored all other flowers. I do have two sunflower manicures I need to edit and post. I should do that for next week.

Happy Wednesday polished world! How are you all doing today? I realized that I have seven posts to still share with you, but I have not gotten around to editting the photos. I believe I'm going to have to do that over the next few days. This slacking is becoming awful. I keep forgetting to update my poor Instagram. At least I finally got around to updating my Facebook.
A few months ago, I stumbled across a cute dot manicure with roses created by Sensationails4U on Instagram. I pinned it and forgot about it until I received the Beauty and the Beast polishes from Morgan Taylor. The pink, Be Our Guest, was beyond perfect for it so I finally re-created the design.

Good morning polished world! How are you all doing today?? It's Monday which means it is the start to another fun filled work week. Hopefully it won't be as busy as last week, but I highly doubt that. I apologize for not getting a post up yesterday but it completely slipped my mind. I was out late and forgot to schedule a post. Time just ticks away from me.
Anyways, today's manicure is one that I have been wanting to do for quite some time. After finding a beautiful purple negative space floral rose manicure by Paulina's Passion on Pinterest, I pinned it to my Nail Ideas board and sat on it for quite some time. I loved the look, wanted to attempt it, but really did not have the courage to do so. I didn't think it would look right on my nails at all, my roses would be messed up, and it just all around would be a disaster.
After months of procrastinating and refusing to attempt the design, I finally gathered the courage and tried it. And guess what, it wasn't a disaster at all!

Happy Monday polished world!! Yes, that's right, Monday. Why did the weekend go by so quickly? It's probably because the past two weeks have been a crazy cluster of weather mishaps and odd schedules.
Two weeks ago I posted swatches of the Morgan Taylor Beauty and the Beast Collection. The gorgeous collection was provided to me by Morgan Taylor through the Preen.Me VIP program. I was rather excited to receive these gorgeous Spring colors because as you all know, Spring polishes are my favorite....next to neons.
After swatching, I of course created some nail art, but never got to post it due to the lack of power. Then St. Patrick's Day came and I had to post those two green manicures and this pretty mani had to be put on the back burner.

The manicure I'm sharing with you today is the one I actually wore on Valentine's Day. I was going to post it but had the other pink rose one so I decided to hold off. I also was kind of lazy and didn't feel like editing the photos until recently. I really need to stop slacking when it comes to this blog. I literally have 6 posts to share with you!
For now, let's take a look at today's manicure!

Good morning polished world! Happy Friday to you all!! To my friends on the East Coast, hope you are staying warm while the snow is falling. I'm kind of jealous, I want a big snow storm. Just one snow storm, then let it melt, and let Spring begin. Unfortunately I don't see that happening.
Today I am sharing with you a re-creation of a rose manicure I did back in 2014. This manicure is one of my all time favorite floral designs that I've ever done on the blog. After it came up on my Facebook memories a few weeks ago, I have been wanting to re-create it. Since Valentine's Day (ew) is right around the corner, I thought it would be an appropriate time to do so.

The next polishes are One in a Melon and Grassy Knoll which are from their new limited edition Picnic in the Park collection! This collection as a whole is a must have because of the bright, fun, spring colors. These two though are perfect nail art polishes for flowers! I'm always looking for the perfect green for floral leaves, and Grassy Knoll is just that! Cannot wait to use it for some Spring nail art! Same goes for One In a Melon! Can we say perfect Spring/Summer color? I have a feeling that this melon colored polish is going to be my go-to Summer pedicure color! Another two needs for any nail artist!
What do you think? Would you be happy to receive these polishes in swaps?

I'm kind of loving how all the purple made My Boyfriend Scales Walls kind of lavender looking in the photos. I think it paired really well with Zinnia and Glitz! Now that I think about it though, I should have used the new gray polish from INM that came with these. I was so focused on the purples I really didn't pay much attention to the other polishes! Silly me.
What do you think? Liking the roses? Fan of the purples? Have you ever used an INM polish?
Make sure to follow INM Nails on their Instagram, They've had some great deals on Northern Lights as well as these polishes lately!
I'm off to enjoy my Sunday! Until next time, <3.
