Double Hearts

8:05:00 PM

Well hello again!  Hope you all are doing spectacular.  This post is a little different than other posts I have done since it is a SHARED POST!  That's right, the lovely Gabi (@RubyStein79) is posting along with me!  Gabi has become my official manicure inspector, especially after my Meh Manicure incident.  I send her cruddy webcam pictures, messy edges and all, and she gives me her feedback.  She has yet to give a negative response (and I doubt she ever will).

This heart manicure though she absolutely loved and she said she was going to copy it.  This made me beyond ecstatic, because as I have said in the past, I created this blog in hopes to inspire some people to start painting and do nail art.  I told her to send me pictures when she was done and I would post them along with my manicure since she does not have her own nail blog......yet.

Are you ready for some nail action????  Doing a fancy smansy "read more" cut for suspense.  Here we go.....

We shall first start out with my manicure which I showed Gabi....

see the flakies...beyond in love with them.

Colors Used:
  • Funky Fingers - Mrs. Mint
  • Revlon - Charming
  • Essie - Shine of the Times
I wish that the weather wasn't so crappy and I could have gotten pictures in the sunshine.  After getting the mint polish a few weeks ago, I have been obsessed with it.  Despite being on a no buy, I have this overwhelming urge to go back and buy another bottle just in case I can't get my hands on it again when this bottle is all gone.  The mint and lavender go soooo well together!  I love it.  And the flakies, don't get me started.  It made the manicure so spectacular.  Everyone was right, I would become obsessed with Shine of the Times.  It's now my go to effect polish.

Gabi's Nails!

BOOM!! I bet you didn't think you were gonna get hit with two mani's in teh same design!!!  I saw The Little Canvas's heart mani and decided I MUST try it!  I'm really into neon right now, hence the color palette.  I thought the hearts were going to be super hard, but they weren't that bad!  Unfortuantely some of my hearts look like Mickey Mouse ears but whatever, right?  Here is my finished product!  Enjoy!!

So ladies and possibly gents, what do you think of our manicures!?  I think Gabi did an amazing job.  I'm not sure what she's talking about with this Mickey Mouse ears nonsense!  Her hearts are better than mine!!

Now's the time for everyone to peer pressure Gabi into starting her own nail blog!!!!  Until she starts one, you can find her on twitter!!!
