Twinsie Tuesday: Favorite Discontinued Polish

9:00:00 AM

Good morning polished world!  How are you all today?  It's warming up here slowly but surely.  I'm going to ignore the fact that the weather man said "scattered snow flurries" and "temperatures in the mid thirties", and look forward to Thursday when it is supposed to be 60!

Today is Tuesday, which means it is time for yet another Twinsie Tuesday!  This week we are sharing manicures using our favorite discontinued polishes.  My favorite discontinued polish is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls from The Amazing Spiderman Collection.  When this collection first was released, I ignored this gorgeous off-white polish because I thought it was stupid to pay OPI prices for a white polish.  Boy, was I wrong.  I grabbed a bottle on sale, used it, got hooked, and now every time I see a bottle, I have to buy it.

The reason being, this polish is the PERFECT base for any nail art.  It's white, but it's not so bright that it takes away from the actual design.  I think I portrayed that well in today's jelly bean manicure where I used the new China Glaze Electric Nights polishes.

Let's take a look!

Colors Used:
  • OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls
  • China Glaze - Plur-ple, DJ Blue My Mind, Red-Y to Rave, Treble Maker, Glow With the Flow, Home Sweet House Music

I think that if I used a regular white base like Snow Me White by Sinful Colors, the jelly beans would have been washed out or not as vibrant.  And with these new Electric Nights polishes by China Glaze, you don't want them to be lost.  But we're talking about the discontinued polish, not the brand new beautiful collection that everyone should go get.  I'll have zillions of other posts talking about how amazing these babies are.

In this photo you can see the grey tone in My Boyfriend Scales Walls.  I cannot tell you how upset I am that I only have 1 backup bottle left of this beauty, and that OPI has not re-released it as part of a core collection.  I think I should start a petition.

What do you think?  Are you a fan of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls?

Don't forget to check out the other Twinsie's posts!  I wonder if anyone else did Easter nail art with their favorite discontinued polishes!

Bestie Twin Nails

Easter Bestie Twin Nails with 25 Sweet Peas!

9:00:00 AM

Happy Sunday polished world!  Hope you all are doing well today!  It is officially one week until Easter, which means I'm going to try to squeeze in as many Easter manicures as I can this week!  I'm off to a great start today with one, and already have one scheduled for Twinsie Tuesday!!!

Today I am doing some Bestie Twin Nails with Sarah from 25 SweetPeas!  I bet you all were expecting me to say that I'm doing them with Amanda from Fashion Footing, but not today.  In a few weeks we are going to be having our monthly collaboration.  We already picked out our design, and it's going to be awesome!

After I featured Sarah on the blog as the March Nail Artist of the Month, I suggested that we do a Bestie Twin Nails post together, and she agreed!  Since Easter is right around the corner, it was only fitting to do an Easter design!  We recreated this design which I found on Pinterest.

Let's take a look!

Colors Used:
  • NYC New York Color - Jacaranda Flower
  • Funky Fingers - Mrs. Mint
  • FingerPaints - Silver Bells
  • FingerPaints - Sterling Sculpture
  • White acrylic
I cheated, I used white acrylic paint for my bunny and dots.  It was late, I was sleepy, and it was the easiest away to create a design that was somewhat perfect.  I love using acrylics, but when I've found when they are at the base of the nail and if you do not wrap the end enough with top coat, it will chip off very quickly.  I probably could have gotten a full three days out of this manicure if it weren't for the chipping white and the chipping Mrs. Mint.  Love that polish, but hate how fast it starts to wear!

My silver nail wore like steel.  FingerPaints has hit a home run with their glitters.  Silver Bells was part of their winter collection and is a fine micro glitter.  In two coats, I have full coverage which does not want to come off.  I added a top coat of Sterling Sculpture which added the larger flecks to the nail.  Loved the combo and will have to do it again soon!

Jacaranda Flower is one of my favorite purples.  I used it for the daisy manicure I currently have as my default photo on Facebook and Twitter.  It's a perfect purple which applies evenly in two coats.  I'm sad that it was part of a limited edition collection so I cannot snag another bottle.  Hopefully I will find a dupe of it soon.  I'll probably head on over to Sarah's blog to see what she used for her purple because it looks pretty close!

Side by side shot courtesy of Sarah!

What do you think?  Fan of this design?  Something you think you would try for Easter?

Make sure to head on over to 25 SweetPeas and see her post!  You can also see her design on Instagram and Twitter!

Until next time, <3.

Dot Mani

Just a Polka Dot Accent :)

9:00:00 AM

Good morning polished world!  How are you all today?  It's Thursday, which means I have stuck to my word and I am sticking to my posting schedule.  I bet by next Thursday I will forget to publish something.  Well, maybe not since it will be Easter week and I'll be determined to paint and share as many Easter manicures as possible!

Tonight I'm planning on starting painting my first Easter manicure, so we will see how that goes.  For today though, I am sharing a regular, simple manicure.  I'm going through a phase where I am a little obsessed with polka dots.  I think every manicure I've created in the past few weeks have had some sort of polka dot on them.  What can I say, it's one of my favorite things to do!

Let's take a look!

Colors Used:
  • Zoya - Hudson
  • Orly - Liquid Vinyl
  • FlossGloss - DimePiece
I love this manicure.  Looking back at my Instagram earlier today, I realized that I did something very similar last year.  Honestly forgot about that manicure until that point.  At least it is a little different this time around thanks to the heart!  Also, my dots are smaller and more even.  Practice really seemed to have made perfect over the past few months!

I also forgot how gorgeous Zoya Hudson is.  This polish is from the Awaken collection that was released last Spring.  It applies evenly in 2 coats, but I used three for this manicure because I really wanted the purple to pop!  My right hand chipped super fast, but I think that was due to the dry weather we've been having.

What do you think?  Fan of this manicure?  Do you love Zoya Hudson as much as I do?

Until next time, <3.

Twinsie Tuesday: Inspired by Pinterest

9:00:00 AM

Good morning polished world!  How are you all today?  Seems like we are in a bit of a cold spurt again.  I just wish the weather would level out and it would stay warm for at least two weeks.  I feel like I should be doing snowflake manicures instead of all these spring floral ones!

Today is Tuesday, so that means it is time again for another Twinsie Tuesday!  This week we are sharing manicures that were inspired by Pinterest!  If you follow me on Pinterst, then you already know I have a "Nail Ideas" board that is filled with dozens upon dozens of ideas.  Many I have tried and succeeded, and others that I look at and one day will have the guts to try.

For today's post, I sat for awhile looking through the board, but nothing was really calling my name.  I decided to do a Pinterest Search for "spring nail art" and I stumbled across this adorable fox manicure by One Nail to Rule Them All.  All of Alice's manicures are stunning and flawless, so I was a little worried re-creating one of her designs, but I went for it anyway because it was so dang cute!

Let's take a look!

Colors Used:
  • OPI - My Vampire is Buff
  • Zoya - Rocha
  • OPI - You're Such a Budapest
  • FingerPaints - Grassy Knoll
  • FingerPaints - Paper Mache
  • OPI - Love Angel Music Baby
I think this is the cutest manicure I have ever done!!!  The floral and the little fox, just so adorable!  My old job had a little wooded area, so we had foxes that would come and scavenge for food around the dumpsters.  I looked forward to when the little cubs would be following the mom fox because they honestly were the cutest things you ever saw.

Rocha is a great color for the little fox.  It's such a unique red color and I'm surprised I never used it before, especially for flowers.  Unless I used it when I did my poppies last year.  Hmmm,

I absolutely love the floral tips.  I think I'm going to do my whole nail with dot flowers and fill in the blank spaces with the leaves like I did here.  I think it would have made this manicure too busy though, especially with the little fox there.  This made it look like the fox was peeking over some flowers in a field.

What do you think?  Fan of this design??

I can't wait to see the other Twinsie's Pinterest inspired manicures!!

FingerPaints

Neon Manicure with FingerPaints Think Outside the Box

9:00:00 AM

Happy Saturday polished world!  How are you all today?  I hope your first day of Spring was awesome and you have some warmer weather where you are.  I would love to say that we are experiencing some Spring like weather here, but we are most certainly not.  It snowed a good portion of the day yesterday, but at least it melted.  All we really have left are those dirty and disgusting snow mounds.  Nothing is grosser than black snow.

Anywho, today I am sharing a manicure I did a few weeks ago when I was really getting annoyed with winter.  I decided to bust out some neon polishes and pretend that it was summer time.  Plus, I got an awesome new black and white matte glitter polish I had been dying to use, and these types of glitter toppers look amazing against neons.

Let's take a look!

Colors Used:
  • Salon Perfect - Tickled Pink
  • Salon Perfect - Flamingo Flair
  • FingerPaints - Patent Black
  • FingerPaints - Paper Mache
  • FingerPaints - Think Outside the Box
So much neon that my camera freaked out a tad!  I won 12 bottles of Salon Perfect neon polishes last year during a #NailGlossip twitter chat, and they are such a great prize!  I cannot wait to start using all them again!  Especially for gradients because I truly believe that neon polishes are the best to use when it comes to creating them!

Think Outside the Box by FingerPaints is an awesome black and white matte glitter topper.  There are numerous sized glitters, some even larger than what I put onto my nail.  I applied one, yes one, coat to my index and pinkie finger and got complete coverage.  You can see how there literally are micro to large mixed in with those black bar glitters.  My only suggestion to FingerPaints would be to lessen up on the bar glitter, but that's a personal preference thing because I am not a huge fan of that shape.

See, the amount of bar glitter was heavier on the index versus the pinkie.  If you go with a lighter hand you can leave some of the bars on the brush.  Overall, it is great.

What do you think of the manicure?  Does it remind you of summer?  Does it make you crave summer??

Think Outside the Box is one of FingerPaints new polishes which is part of their permanent line, and is available now at Sally Beauty Supply stores.

The Salon Perfects I believe are available still at Walmart.  Some of the colors are identical to China Glaze core neons so you should be able to snag them either way.  Flamingo Flair is very similar to ChG Flip Flop Fantasy, and Tickled Pink I believe is similar to Shocking Pink.  I don't own the pink ChG so I can't be positive, but that's the color that pops into my head when I think of this Salon Perfect.  Don't you just love that China Glaze bottles their polishes and sells them cheaper in the Salon Perfect line?

Until next time, <3.

Quick Update!

9:00:00 AM

Hello and happy Friday!  FINALLY!  Although, tomorrow I won't be able to sleep in much, it's nice to just be able to have a day off.  Don't get me wrong, I love work, but we all need a day or two to re-charge so we can be at our best!!!  You know me, I would love if we had a three day weekend, but by Sunday night I always am ready to go back and start the new week.  Doesn't hurt that I love my job.  Do what you love, and it's really not work, right?

The same goes for this blog....do what you love, and it's really not work.  The Little Canvas to me is a labor of love.  Three years ago when I started this blog, I never realized what my hobby would become.  I love coming home and playing with my polishes and working on this blog.  Through it I have met some great people, inspired others, and hopefully spread the word of other nail artists out there.  Interacting with my readers and other bloggers is so neat, especially when you can talk to someone who is on the other side of the world who shares the same little hobby as you do.  It's funny to think that nail polish, of all things, can connect so many of us together in this great community!

I'm getting side tracked, yes The Little Canvas is a labor of love, and therefore I am not planning on giving it up anytime in the future.  I feel though when I go "MIA" or am not as active on social media or here on the blog, I owe it to you guys to give a little explanation and not just abandon everyone.  Especially since I have received comments from some of you lovelies saying that you cannot wait for my next creation!

Life has gotten a tad hectic, so I'm not posting as much.  Typically I have about 3 to 4 manicures ready to post, but I by the time I get settled in to actually edit the photos, I'm exhausted.  I did go through and edit a huge batch, so I have about 5 manicures to share with you all!

I'm also not posting as much because I'm not painting as much as I was.  Or at least I think I am not.  Winter has been quite long and harsh, and my nails are paying the price.  Dry hands, cuticles, and nails have led to lots of breaks on my right hand, and wonky cuticles all around.  I've been having more "naked nail" days where I just let my nails breath and moisturize them.  It helps, but after 5 days again with polish on them, they are back in their dry state.  Now that the temperature is warming up, I'm hoping that my nails will turn back to normal!

Next week, I'm going to convert to a blogging schedule of posts every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.  I used to post every three days, but with Twinsie Tuesday (a group I love to the moon and back), that becomes impossible.  So this whole Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday thing should work.

Anywho, if I disappear, just know it's not because I've abandoned the blog, it's because something has come up and I will be back soon!!!  There is always something to post...even if I start revisiting old manicures or even a swatch here or there!

As always, thank you all for your constant support of my little blogging endeavor.  You all are awesome and I have been so blessed to be given this opportunity to share my designs with the world!

Until next time, <3.

Twinsie Tuesday: St. Patrick's Day!

9:00:00 AM

Good morning polished world!!  Happy St. Patrick's Day!!  All of your nails better be green and festive today!  If not, I hope someone pinches you.  People still pinch those who are not wearing green on St. Patrick's Day, right??

Today is Tuesday, which means it is time for another Twinsie Tuesday!  Since it is St. Patrick's Day, we are all sharing festive manicures!!  I cannot wait to see what everyone has done!

For my manicure today, I just did a mixture of designs that I've done in the past.  Really nothing new as my creative juices weren't flowing too well.  Regardless, I really loved how they turned out!

Let's take a look!

Colors Used:
  • FingerPaints - Grassy Knoll
  • Orly - Bling
  • Sinful Colors - ShamRockin
  • INM - Northern Lights Gold
  • Rainbow - 6 different polishes
Grassy Knoll from the FingerPaints Picnic in the Park collection is the perfect St. Patrick's Day green!  I am loving this polish (and all the other polishes from this collection).  It applied perfectly in two coats, and with a top coat of INM Northern Lights in Gold, it just was stunning.  Can I wear green polish every day without getting weird looks?

The shamrocks are just adorable in my opinion.  I used green acrylic paint because it's easier to work with, and when I got around to putting the shamrocks on my nails, it was close to midnight.  What's great about acrylics, is that if you mess up, you can quickly "erase" your error with a damp washcloth/napkin and start all over.  I had to remove the shamrocks twice before getting them just how I liked them.  I think they turned out perfectly!

Orly Bling is the perfect St. Patrick's Day pot of gold color, don't you agree?  I added a top coat of ShamrRockin by Sinful Colors on top of it, because I felt like it tied the whole manicure together.  The light green, dark green, white, and gold.  It just all blended together.

My favorite nail though is the pot of gold.  I love doing the rainbow gradient and actually getting it to apply perfectly on the first try.  It's kind of a pain fitting all 6 colors on the make up sponge, then getting it to successfully transfer on the nail.  Then reapplying it to make it darker and lining up the sponge in the exact same spot.  It's a science, but I think I mastered it!

What do you think?  Fan of the manicure?

Don't forget to check out the other Twinsie's posts!!

Bestie Twin Nails

Bestie Twin Nails with Fashion Footing - Round 10!

9:00:00 AM

Good morning polished world!  How are you all today?  I'm thrilled that it is Saturday because that means I don't have to work and I can be lazy all day long.  Well, I won't be as lazy as I want because I have a few things to do.  This is why there needs to be a day in between Saturday and Sunday; so I can do chores and have two other days to be completely lazy.

I was almost too lazy to write this post, but I couldn't do that since Amanda from Fashion Footing is relying on me to post alongside her for another round of Bestie Twin Nails.  Can you believe we already have done 10 posts together!?  It's so weird to think that we started this ten months ago....where did the time go??

We were inspired by this design by ana0m on Instagram,  Since St. Patrick's Day is around the corner, we went for something kind of green, but wasn't "In your face" St Patrick's Day.  Maybe next year I can get Amanda to do a pot of gold or a shamrock on her nails.

Let's take a look!

Colors Used:
  • Orly - Gumdrop
  • FingerPaints - Paper Mache
  • FingerPaints - Sterling Sculpture
  • FingerPaints - Silver Bells
I love Orly Gumdrop.  It has to be one of my favorite polishes.  These pictures are making it look to be more blue, when really it tends to be more minty.  Or maybe I just think in person it's more minty green.  I just did a quick search for swatches of this shade, and they all seem to look the same blue tinged as this does.  Regardless, it's an awesome polish from Orly which applies evenly in two coats.  I need to grab a back up bottle despite mine still being half full and pretty much brand new without any goopiness.

As I've said before in another post where  used Sterling Sculpture, this is by far my favorite silver glitter.  I love the variation of sizes of the silver flecks.  It applies perfectly in one coat and requires no placement or dabbing of glitter to fill in naked spots.  They did such a great job with this glitter topper.

For my design, I decided to use Silver Bells, which is a fine silver microglitter.  I felt this would be better to create the waterfall look with over the chunkier glitter.  I worked pretty well for a waterfall.  I dipped an old striper into the bottle and had to go over the lines twice to get as much of the silver micro that I did, but it was worth it.

What do you think?  Fan of the waterfall look?  This is my first waterfall manicure and I'm kind of loving it.

Make sure to check out Amanda's post!  I'm off to do my errands so I can come back and paint my nails for St. Patrick's Day.  Now that the blog is all festive, I should at least do one festive manicure, don't you think?  And goodness, Easter is right around the corner!!!  Might have to slap together an Easter Nail Art Wheel!

Until next time, <3.

Twinsie Tuesday: Soft and Feminine

9:00:00 AM

Hello there polished world!  How are you all today?  I'm doing fantastically!  Reason being, Spring is quite possibly in the air!  I walked outside yesterday to a beautiful sunny day, about 35 degrees, and birds chirping away!  Today it is supposed to be close to 50 degrees, and I could not be happier.  I am hoping the weather stays this way....I cannot take anymore below zero days!

Today is Tuesday so that means it is time for another Twinsie Tuesday!  This week we created "soft and feminine" manicures.  You know me, I'm not one for feminine designs.  Sure, I do a dainty manicure here or there, but 99% of the time, my nails are bold and crazy.

So since I'm craving Spring, I decided to grab some of my new FingerPaints pastel polishes and create what I believe to be a soft and feminine manicure.  Let's take a look!

Colors Used:
  • FingerPaints - Sweet Spring
  • FingerPaints - Grassy Knoll
  • FingerPaints - Paper Mache
  • INM - Northern Lights
  • Zoya - Josie
  • Sally Hansen - Fuchsia Flare

Sweet Spring is just a gorgeous baby pink polish.  I'm not one to gravitate towards pink, but I find myself wanting to use this polish over and over again.  It applies perfectly in three coats, but you could get away with two.  It brings out that super girlie feminine side in me.  Especially when you add a top coat of Northern Lights.

It's the perfect pink for feminine roses too.  Paired up with grassy knoll for the green leaves, it's just an awesome Spring, vintage look.  Both polishes worked very well to do nail art.  They didn't dry to fast or get goopy, and they were easy to work with and get into the shapes I wanted them to be in.

Overall, I'm really liking this manicure.  Polka dots, flowers, glitter....what could be wrong about it??

What do you think?  Fan of this feminine manicure?  Something you see yourself wearing?  Didn't I just do roses last week for Twinsie Tuesday??

Don't forget to check out the other Twinsie's posts!

Leopard Print Manicure with a Pixie Dust!

9:00:00 AM

Happy Sunday everyone!  How are you all today?  I'm doing well!!  Actually, I feel like quite a slacker because I have so many manicures to share, but not a single photo has been cropped and edited.  I think that there are five that I have to do?  I should probably get to work.

Well, today's manicure is the last of my edited posts.  Kind of happy I had it ready in the drafts because I'm way too lazy to start creating new posts now.  Especially since it's Day Light Savings time and we just lost an hour of our day.  This whole Spring forward thing is awful.

Anyways, I'm getting off topic.  I did this manicure last month.  I had a few disasticures that night and really wanted to keep my nails naked.  Then inspiration hit and in twenty minutes I had a complete leopard print manicure on both hands.

Let's take a look!

Colors Used:
  • Zoya - Miranda
  • FingerPaints - Patent Leather
  • FingerPaints - Paper Mache
When all else fails, always grab a Pixie Dust.  They dry fast, are great for nail art, and are so gorgeous.  I feel like Miranda is usually my go-to when I can't get a manicure to work.  You think I would use Stevie or Liberty since I'm a fan of purple and blue, but no for some reason I always go to the pink polish.  Regardless, this is a gorgeous pink Pixie Dust, and it's such a shame that Zoya doesn't make the original formula anymore.  Big mistake on their part in my opinion.

I love the look of this manicure.  I'm really becoming a fan of doing my nail art on my thumb, index, and middle finger, then using the ring and pinkie as an accent.  I'm playing around with accent nails a lot lately, so I'm sure you'll be seeing different combos over the next few weeks.

What do you think?  Fan of this manicure?  Something you would wear?

Well I am off to probably nap and catch up on that whole missing hour of sleep.

Until next time, <3.

Nail Artist of the Month

March Nail Artist of the Month: 25_SweetPea!

9:00:00 AM

Good morning polished world!  How are you all today??   I'm doing quite swell.  It warmed up to about 30 degrees here this week, so it's like a little heat wave.  I hate that I'm saying 30 degrees is a heat wave, but oh well.  I cannot wait until it's 60 again.  At least it's March, so that means that warmer weather is coming soon!

Since it's March, that means it is time to name another Nail Artist of the Month!  I am so pleased to introduce you all to Sarah from 25 Sweet Peas!  I first discovered her on her Instagram account @25_sweetpea!  I've been following Sarah for awhile, and I'm kicking myself that I haven't featured her sooner.  She is beyond talented and all her work is so perfect and neat!

I'll let you see for yourself!  Everybody, please welcome 25 Sweetpea!
_________________________________

Hello guys! I can't believe I am writing a guest post for the lovely Alaina! When she asked me to be the Artist of the Month for March I was completely shocked and super excited! Made my day so thank you so much Alaina!

So if you all don't know me I am 25 Sweetpea! Some of you may know me from my blog that I just started but most likely you know me as @25_sweetpea on Instagram! A few years ago, I started my Instagram and started following so many wonderful nail artists. Then I started to do nail art and post it on Instagram and since then it has all just snowballed, and now I am here! Just opened my blog in the end of January, and currently have some really cool things in the works! It's all really exciting.

So today for you all I have a fun tropical mani! I know many of you are having a harsh winter so maybe looking at something tropical will help! :)

I really actually like how these turned out! These nails were actually inspired by a PINK phone wallpaper I have saved on my phone. I love florals, which this kind of is, and I love bright colors, and palms so these are perfect for me! Also when I was trying to decide what nails to do for this special post I decided it had to be something that was a favorite thing to paint and that it needed to represent me. So since I am from Florida I thought "Why Not!".

For these nails I used the 2 China Glazes, Highlight of My Summer, and At Vase Value. All of the art details were done with acrylic paint. I had a lot of fun working with these colors! They are for sure some of my favorites. Plus this design in general was just really fun to do. :)

Well that's the last photo I have for you all! Hope you liked them, and once again thank you so much Alaina! Such an honor to get to do this, still can't believe it!!

Happy Painting!

~25 Sweetpea

Amazing. Just amazing! First, I need that China Glaze polish. I hate myself for never purchasing it! Please, oh please China Glaze make Highlight of My Summer part of your core collection!  Second, a tropical floral design??  This is the PERFECT manicure to cure my winter blues!  Maybe I can re-create it on a light mint base.

Please make sure to follow 25 Sweetpea on her Blog, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest!!!  You will not be sorry!!!

Thank you so much for this awesome post!  I'm happy to finally feature you!!!

Until next time, <3.

Good morning polished world!  How are you all today??  I'm fabulous.  Okay, maybe not.  I usually write my posts the night before, but last night I forgot and remembered at 1am.   Instead of getting out of bed right then and there and writing a post, I decided I was going to wake up early.  Big mistake, I hate mornings and I rather be sleeping right now.  Seriously I'm sooooo not a morning person.

Anwho, here I am writing up my blog post.  Today is Tuesday so that means it is time for another Twinsie Tuesday!  We are all wearing yellow nails to raise support for Endometriosis since March is Endometrosis Awareness month.

I wasn't really sure what to do, so I searched "Yellow nail art" on Pinterest and came up with a zillion ideas.  One that stood out to me was this floral manicure by adelislebron.  I loved the floral design and had to re-create it in my own way.

Let's take a look!

Colors Used:
  • FingerPaints - Frosty Lemonade
  • FingerPaints - Paper Mache
  • INM - Granite
  • Sinful Colors - Cool Grey
  • Black acrylic
Frosty Lemonade is the yellow I have been searching for!  This polish is part of the new Picnic in the Park Collection only available at Sally Beauty Supply!  It has full coverage in two coats and is so pretty and cheerful!  I'm still wearing the manicure, so I have no confirmation if it stains like most yellows do.  I hope when I remove it tonight my nails won't be all nasty looking.  I need to figure out my camera because the first photo the yellow was accurately captured, but the next two it's more mustard which it isn't in real life.

Regardless of the colors not capturing 100% accurately, the manicure is one of my favorites.  I love the combination of yellow and grey.  Then add in some polka dots and florals, you know you're going to have something that screams Alaina.

What do you think?  Fan of the manicure?  Do you think you would purchase this yellow polish?

Don't forget to check out the other Twinsie's!
