Easter

Easter Peeps!

12:18:00 AM

Easter is right around the corner!  That means chocolate bunnies, Easter eggs, and best of all, marshmallow Peeps!  Growing up, Peeps only were around during Easter time, but now you can find Halloween Peeps, Christmas Peeps, Valentines Day Peeps...the list goes on and on.  Nothing though compares to the original Easter Peeps....

Those brightly colored marshmallow bunnies and chics with the little chocolate spotted eyes.  After seeing this large display at the grocery store, I realized it was time to put the little guys on my nails!  And here is what I came up with....

Colors Used:

  • Base
    • New York Color - French White Tip (retired the Sinful Colors - Snow Me White due to clumpyness)
  • Peeps! & Dots
    • Sinful Colors - Irish Green
    • Sally Hansen HD Nails - Byte (Pink)
    • Sinful Colors - Love Nails (Blue)
    • Zoya - Lianne (Orange)
    • Sinful Colors - Let's Meet (Yellow)
My Peeps didn't fill up my full nail and there was too much white, so I decided to dot some of the colors on the other nails.  I originally was going to use the dotting tool to draw them on my nails, but realized that I could not get the look I wanted.  Enter in the tooth pick.  Each were drawn on with the tooth pick and filled in.  Then I dotted on the little eyes with the tooth pick and they were done!  Took a little longer than I thought, but in the end well worth it.

I'm in love with the bright colors.  Reminds me of Spring and of course the Easter Peeps.  So what do you think??

I have two more mani ideas for Easter which I can't wait to do and show you all.  <3

Bug Mani

Ladybugs!

10:47:00 PM

I'm feeling like poop tonight.  My throat is sore and my head is all wonky.  I'm blaming the weather.  As I stated in my other posts, it was 80 degrees here last week.  Tonight we're expecting a frost and currently it is 33 degrees.

When the temperatures were warm, it brought back my favorite lucky little bugs.  Ladybugs!  Ladybugs are pretty much the only bug that I can stand, all others gross me out.  Do not get me started on spiders.  So since the little ladybugs were landing on my car and on my house, I thought it was only appropriate I paint them on my nails.

Colors Used:
  • Base
    • Sinful Colors - Sugar, Sugar
  • Bug Details
    • Sinful Colors - Black on Black
    • Sinful Colors - Snow Me White
  • Top Coat
    • New York Color - White Lights Glitter
The technique was very simple.  I used almost the same technique as CutePolish in her video.  I started with a base of the red coat.  CutePolish in her video just swiped the nail polish across the tip, I always have issue doing this and getting it straight, so I taped half my nail and painted on the black tips.  Then I used my regular polish brush and created the center line.  Then, I dotted on the spots and little antennas with a dotting tool.  Next, I took the dotting tool and placed on the eyes.  I decided that the plain white eyes were kind of creepy looking, so I decided to give them little googly eyes.

I really wish that my red polish was brighter.  I love them, but they're just so dark.  When I added the glitter and then my Sally Hansen top coat, they lightened up a bit.  I may have to invest in a brighter one.

Literally, every time I look down at my nails, I think of Butters from South Park singing this song.

Easter is right around the corner so I will be starting my Easter designs shortly!  Can't wait to show them to you!!!

Water Marble

Water Marble - First Attempt

12:36:00 AM

A while back I attempted water marbling after my friend had it done to her nails.  I pulled up a YouTube video and was all excited to do it.  It seemed so simple and so cute.  When I sat down to do it, I quickly found that it was not the most simple thing.

Please excuse the photo as it is an old cell phone picture from my cruddy basic 3.2 megapixel phone.  I took this picture before I started blogging and got serious with my nails, and I kind of wish I had a better picture now that I look at it.

Colors Used:
  • Base
    • Sinful Colors - Snow Me White
  • Marble Colors
    • Sinful Colors - Verbena
    • Sinful Colors - Mint Apple
I had a difficult time getting the polish to spread.  I found that using room temperature tap water was definitely the best way to go.  When the polish did spread, I had difficulty drawing the design into it which could have been because I waited to long and was being too OCD about the design.  Also, the colors were very faint on my nails, which to me was weird because both Verbena and Mint Apple are not sheer polishes.

A few weeks later, I attempted to water marble my neighbor's nails and used some OPI polishes.  Wish I had a picture of that, it was a pretty silver and pink marble.  They seemed to spread a little better, which made me wonder if Sinful Colors was too cheap of a formula.

When I completed the design, I added a quick coat of New York Color White Lights Glitter (I'm seriously obsessed with this glitter polish) which made them stand out a little more.

I'm scared, nervous, and excited to try water marbling again.  Who knows, maybe I'll master it the third time around.

The Post-It Queen

11:59:00 PM

No nails, just a talking, tl;dr post. :)

I always have a million manicure ideas running through my head, but when I sit down to actually paint my nails, I can't remember any of them.  Enter today the post-it note.  This was the first time that I've actually written/drawn out my ideas ahead of time.  Usually when I sit down to do a mani, I paint test swatches on a paper plate.

Time after time I just frustrate myself doing so.  I sit waiting for my test swatches to dry, and in the end I get too exhausted and do not feel like painting my nails.  Or my all time favorite, I paint a full manicure on, and then look at it, absolutely hate it, and immediately take it off.  Not only am I wasting my polish by doing this, I'm wasting my time, energy, and nail polish remover.  Then I look at the clock and it's 1am and I have naked nails.

tToday while I was bored at work, I started doodling random designs with a Sharpie on post-it notes.  After a few random swirls, hearts, and stars, I thought to myself  "I should totally draw out some mani ideas!"  Once that started, I was unstoppable.  And the result.....

Can we tell I just learned how to watermark.  lol.  I wanted to watermark because these are my ideas, and while they are a crappy cell phone picture, I didn't want them surfacing the web with no credit to my lil ol' self.  Selfish?  Possibly, but it bothers me when people steal without giving credit.  Like my post tomorrow, totally a cutepolish mani, and she will be getting her credit.  Seriously, love that cutepolish girl whoever she is.

I'm off on a tangent, my bad.

As you can see, I went crazy, Easter ideas, Sesame Street nails thanks to @Inkyinkgirls on Twitter, clouds/sky thanks to my ring finger of my Spring Flower nails, bugs, and more flowers.  I cannot wait to try all these out on my nails.  I'm super excited for Easter week to try all the different ideas.  May have to start a bit earlier than the exact week of.

The brightly colored post-its were amazing to create little ideas on.  @kristenbailey77 nicknamed me "The Post-It Queen" earlier, thus the title for this post.  I embrace it, but I may steal @MissMeganails idea and make a nail art binder.  If you ladies ever have any nail art inspiration for your own nails, seriously, write it down!!! It made everything so much easier!!!!

Quick Thanks:

While I am rambling, I would like to say thank you to all my new followers on my blog and my Twitter.  I am so happy that I decided to start blogging a little over a month ago.  The support from those who I have connected with is amazing.  It inspires me to paint my nails more, grow my collection, and just be an overall polish addict.  This week I hit 1,000 page views, and while that is a small thing for some, it's huge to me.  I never thought that my nail art would be liked by anyone or that my blog would ever have an audience.  It's just so amazing to me.  I read @PolishPixelle's post on her blog about 5,000 page views, and I could totally relate to her post.  It's beyond awesome and I cannot wait to see how big my little blog grows.  Contests? Giveaways? Who knows, it could happen.  As I stated in my first post, I was inspired by so many nail art sites, and I hope that I can inspire some girls out there as well.

Ideas:

I'm always looking for new manicure ideas.  If you have any, feel free to comment on the Mani Ideas page.

TL:DR

Summary:
  • I doodled a bunch of mani ideas on post-it's.  I'm now the post-it queen.
  • If you have your own ideas that you want to personally try, seriously draw them out...so much easier.
  •  If you have any ideas of nail art you want me to try, comment on my Mani Ideas page.
  • Thank you all for your continued support of my blog and nail art :)
Have a good night and thanks again!!! I'm off to paint my nails :)

Flowers

Spring Flowers

1:57:00 PM

For the past week, we have had abnormally warm weather.  Yesterday and the day before it reached the 80s and we broke the record temperatures.  Not going to lie, it's been awesome.  With this heat wave, spring has sprung.  Daffodils are blooming, the leaves on the trees are starting to burst, and as of today, the lilacs are starting as well.  I'm crossing my fingers that we don't get some random snow storm, although that wouldn't really surprise me because it has happened in the past.

Early Spring combined with being able to open my blue polish after many months, I decided it was time for a Spring time manicure to kick off the season.  And what better way than with flowers??

Colors Used:

  • Base
    • Color Club - Blue Light
  • Grass/Flower Stems
    • Revlon - Sassy
  • Flowers
    • Sinful Colors - Cream Pink
    • Zoya - Lianne
  • Sky Nail
    • Sinful Colors - Let's Meet
    • Sinful Colors - Snow Me White
Surprisingly, this was not a time consuming mani.  I painted the base on first, then did a sloppy french tip sort of thing with the green brush.  It didn't have to be perfect because grass is not even and perfect.  Next, with my dotting tool, I dotted on the flowers, clouds, and sun.  With a tooth pick, I added the stems and the sun rays.  Finished it all off with a quick coat of New York Color White Lights glitter.  I think it took probably a half hour to get both hands done.

After doing this manicure, I thought of a perfect Easter one which I cannot way to do and show everyone!

Where ever you all are, I hope you are enjoying this amazing weather!!!

Swatches

Whimsical

9:19:00 PM

Last night, I was lazy and I did not want to do a fancy manicure.  I needed something quick and easy to avoid going to work with naked nails.  I was searching through my itsy bitsy stash and found my bottle of Whimsical and decided to use it.  After seeing numerous blog posts about Whimsical, and then seeing the bottle for myself at the store, I had to purchase it.  After that purchase, I had no idea what to do with it.

I knew that Whimiscal would be too sheer to put on my bare nail, so I had to put a base color.  For the past few months, my bottle of Color Club Blue Light has been sealed shut.  I tried everything and was unable to get it open.  It saddened me because it was my favorite shade of baby blue, and the bottle was only a quarter gone.  I couldn't bring myself to throw it out, and I did not want to buy a new one.  I figured when the time was right, it would open up.

Well last night after painting my thumb white and putting on the Whimsical and not being too impressed, I grabbed the blue and started twisting.....and guess what.....IT FINALLY OPENED!  I'm not sure if it's because of the random weather change and warmer temps that loosened it, but whatever, it's open!

And guess what, Whimsical looked pretty damn good over it.....

Colors Used:
  • Base
    • Color Club - Blue Light
    • Color Club - Snow Me White
  • Top Coat
    • Revlon - Whimsical!
I've never used a polish like this before, so I'm not sure what I think of it or if I applied it right.  This was two thickish coats of Whimsical over one coat of the white and two coats of the blue.  My OCD set in and I was placing the glitter in different areas.

Overall, it was a pretty and simple manicure which was very springy.  It would also be cute to wear to a baby shower now that I think of it...especially if the person is unsure if they are having a boy or a girl.  Oooo a baby pink base coat would look fabulous too!!  Yes, defiantly going to be using Whimsical again soon!

Dot Mani

Polka Dots

12:24:00 AM

This weekend I helped to throw a surprise birthday party.  Great news, the surprise went perfectly and the party was lots of fun.  We were blessed to have gorgeous weather here, making the party that much better.  Typically, this time of year, the snow is still melting and it's in the 40s.  Instead for St. Patrick's Day weekend we were in the 70s with bright sunshine.  The daffodils have started to bloom, tulips are popping up, and the leaves are starting to show on the trees.

So to match the brightly colored party theme and the unseasonably warm weather, I wanted a brightly colored mani.  I pulled up an image of the party theme online, and I saw the bright polka dots which were all over the napkins/table cloths, and I decided that is what had to go on my nails.  Or at least a similar variation.

Here's what I came up with.....

This was the theme.....

Matched well, right?

Colors used:

  • Base
    • Sinful Colors - Snow Me White
  • Dots
    • Sinful Colors - Lets Meet - yellow
    • Sinful Colors - Irish Green - neon green
    • Sinful Colors - Love Nails - blue
    • Sinful Colors - Daddy's Girl - purple
    • Sinful Colors - Cream Pink - pink
    • Sinful Colors - Sugar, Sugar - red
    • Zoya - Lianne - orange
  • Top Coat
    • New York Color - White Lights Glitter
I am new to using a dotting tool.  I got it only a few months ago, and while it should be simple, to me, that's not always the case.  You have to have the right amount of polish and you have to dab it just right on the nail otherwise your dots can be either too big or too little or crooked.  I don't know it sometimes frustrates me. Who knows, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but they say practice makes perfect, right?

St. Patrick's Day

Rainbows and Pots of Gold

1:23:00 AM

Well happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!!!  How are you all planning on celebrating??  As I said in my other post, I don't really celebrate.  This year I'll be at the parade, followed by an afternoon home enjoying the weather.  Nice quiet day, who wouldn't enjoy that?

So as I sit here watching The Black Donnelly's (thank you Netflix), I remembered I didn't post my second St. Patrick's Day mani yet!  This show aired years ago on NBC for one season, and for some reason I liked it.  When I saw it was on there, I took a break from watching Gossip Girl and Psych and started watching.  Clearly, you can see I have the oddest taste in shows.  Current favorite, Revenge.  Anyone watched that???

I'm off on a tangent, nail time...(Dear Camera, thanks for making the coloring so different)

Colors Used (Get ready there's a ton):
  • Sinful Colors - HD Nails - green base
  • New York Color - White Lights Glitter - top coat
  • Pots of Gold
    • Sinful Colors - Black on Black - Pots of Gold
    • Sinful Colors - Snow Me White - base under gold
    • Milani - Good Morning Sunshine
  • Rainbow
    • Sinful Colors - Snow Me White - base under
    • Sinful Colors - Sugar, Sugar - red
    • Zoya - Lianne - Orange
    • Sinful Colors - Let's Meet - Yellow
    • Sinful Colors - HD Nails - green
    • Sinful Colors - Midnight Blue - blue
    • Sinful Colors - Verbena
Whew.  This mani was a pain in the behind, but I think it turned out cute.  I started with my green base coat.  I then did the pots of gold.  With a dotting tool and the black, i traced and filled in the little pot.  Once dried, I took the white polish and dotted the gold coins.  Once dried, I added the Milani gold, and bam they were done.  Next, I went to do the rainbows.  I started by putting the colors on with toothpicks.  I started with red, then the orange, then the yello....uh oh, yellow doesn't show up well on green.  Time to start over with the pointer finger.

I didn't  want to take off all the green on my other nails, or mess up my pots of gold with nail polish remover, so I took a white striper and outlined the rainbow on my nails.  Carefully, and painstakingly, I filled in the area with the Sinful Colors Snow Me White.  I then started stippling on the colors of the rainbow with a toothpick to each nail.  When the rainbows were done, I decided to add some gold coins to the rainbow fingers.  I took the white and dotted some on, then topped it with the Milani.

Finally, after an hour, it was all done.  I slapped on a top coat of New York Colors White Lights Glitter to add just a little more, and bam, they were done.

So, which St. Patrick's day mani did you like better, this one or my Leprechauns?

Have a safe St. Patrick's Day everyone!!!! :)

Neighborhood Love

12:46:00 AM

Let me start this post by saying that I have been blessed to have the most awesome neighbors in the whole world.  Across the street, next door, kitty corner, no matter where they are, everyone is awesome.  Last Spring, one of our neighbors moved, and we all were a bit nervous because we were unsure who was going to move in.  Luckily, nice neighbors got replaced with even nicer neighbors.  Just like everyone else who I have met, they all love my finger nail designs.  Every few weeks or so, I paint the girls nails.  It gives me practice on my designs while at the same time giving me something to do while spending time with some great people.

Tonight was one of those nail painting nights.  Starting around 5pm and ending at 8pm, three sets of fingers, all with different designs were completed.  Here are the designs...please excuse the edges as I do suck at putting base coats on other people's nails and by the time I was done I was too lazy to clean them lol.

The first design was on the youngest of the three whom I painted.  Obsessed with my leprechaun nails, she wanted the same thing.  Instead of the design I have on my other nails, she wanted to have pots of gold.  I'm not sure how she managed to do it, but she smeared a few of the nails in a period of two seconds lol.

After I brought my camera over, and the girls looked through my dozens of nail pictures, the middle girl wanted to have piggies done on her nails like I had in this post.  Did something a little different with the eyes and on the ring finger, and totally loved them.

Originally, the oldest girl wanted to have those little mustache designs.  I'm down for anything, so I was up for the challenge.  Instead, she decided to go with the Zooey Deschanel tuxedo nails.  Super cute, and perfect for Bow Tie Tuesday.  Let me explain quickly what Bow Tie Tuesday is....where I work, on Tuesdays the men wear bowties and some of the girls put them in their hair, or in my case on my nails.  I will be doing this design in the near future for another Bow Tie Tuesday.  While she had no clue about Bow Tie Tuesday, she's totally prepared.

I'm in love with all the designs.  Thanks to the girls for allowing me to paint your nails!!!  Most awesome neighbors ever, right?

Which design was your favorite??

St. Patrick's Day

Top o' the Morning!

11:45:00 PM

St. Patrick's Day is Saturday.  Are you all ready??  I don't drink or celebrate in the typical way.  I think getting completely inebriated and not remembering your nights is a lame way to spend your time and money.  I prefer spending my money on nail polish :).  To each their own though.  If that's what you enjoy doing, I hope you have a SAFE day!!!

So to celebrate the holiday and my heritage, what better way than to design cute nail art?

Colors Used:
  • Funky Fingers - Sold Out Arena - Foil Green base coat
  • Zoya - Avery - Tan base for faces
  • Zoya - Lianne - Orange beards
  • Sinful Colors - Black on Black - details eyes/nose/mouth/belts
  • Sinful Colors - Snow me White - eyes/buckle base
  • Milani - Good Morning Sunshine - Gold buckles
Originally, I was going to do the buckle/hat thing on all my nails, but then I really really wanted to do leprechaun faces.  I started thinking how I could manage to do so, then I remembered the Santa nails I did around Christmas time (should i post these?).  They were little faces with beards and eyes.  I found myself looking at pictures of leprechauns and figured out a way to copy their faces.

For the faces, I painted a base coat of Zoya Avery.  This polish is a perfect skin toned polish.  I painted it on on all my nails one day and it kind of freaked me out it looked so similar!  I then took a piece of scotch tape and covered majority of my nail to add the green hat.  Then I took my dotting tool, and with Zoya Lianne dotted the beard and hair.  Next came the details of the eyes, nose, mouth, and buckles with some tooth picks.  The rest of the nails were simple.  A quick base coat of Sold Out Arena, then dotting of the black line, and tooth picked a buckle in white, then overlapped it with gold.  Slapped on a top coat and done!

Easy, simple, and ready for St. Patrick's Day!  Tomorrow the little guys will be coming off and another cute design will be coming!!!

Animal Print

Pink & Lavender Zebra

12:26:00 AM

Hello to my new followers!!  Thanks for following!

On Wednesday, I painted my nails a really pretty foil green in preparation for a St. Patrick's Day nail design.  When I sat down on Thursday to complete a St. Patrick's day design, I realized I only had two good ideas and I wanted to do them the actual week of the holiday.  So, I took the green off then put on some nice foiled pink.  Then I thought to myself, what oh what should I do?? I remembered a mani I did awhile back with a zebra print and thought I will do that, with a twist!

Colors Used:
  • Funky Fingers - Favorite Girl - foil pink base
  • Revlon - Charming - Lavender tip
  • Sinful Colors - Black on Black - zebra stripes
  • Sally Hansen XTtreme Wear - Celeb City - Metallic silver stripe
Last time I did this mani, it looked like this (I apologize for the blurry picture, but my cellphone stinks and it was the only picture I had of it)

Instead of using Revlon Charming, I used Sinful Colors Snow Me White for the tip.  While I liked both mani's, I think I slightly preferred the white tipped mani over the lavender tipped.  I would have done the white again if it wasn't all dried up.  Always happens, the colors is dried up at that exact moment you want to use them.

How To:

It's by far one of the easiest mani's to do.  First, paint your nail the whatever base color.  When the nail has dried (about five minutes) take a piece of tape and lay it diagonally across your nail, then paint whatever secondary color you want.  After another five minutes, take a tooth pick and start creating a zebra pattern.  Use a stippling motion with the tooth pick to create the lines.  The lines do not have to be perfect because real life zebra patterns are not perfect.  Take another toothpick and outline between the base and dividing color with again a color of your choice.  You don't have to do this, but sometimes it just adds a little more to the mani.  Finish with a top coat, and viola! zebra nails!

Enjoy, and see you all next week for some St. Patrick's Day nail art!!!!

Meet My Minions

12:15:00 AM

This is an old mani I did awhile back, but I'm currently watching Despicable Me and I had to find the picture of these lil guys.  Please excuse the messy edges as this was one of my first designs when first starting out.  They're also messier because I had to use a white base since my yellow isn't as bright as I would like when on the bare nail.

So, why did I decide to paint minions on my nails?  A friend of mine dared me to re-create them after we all watched the movie.  I'm not one to turn down a mani challenge, so of course I accepted, and this is what I came up with.  Everybody, meet my minions :)

One friend said to me "When you're typing, it's like your minions are writing your papers for you."  Who doesn't want little minions doing their homework?

Colors Used:

  • Sinful Colors Let's Meet - yellow body
  • Sinful Colors Midnight Blue - Overalls
  • Sinful Colors Black on Black and Snow Me White - details of eyes/teeth/mouth/etc
I was actually surprised how well the lil guys turned out.  At the time I did this mani, I did not own a dotting tool.  All details were added using toothpicks.  I have to say, I much prefer using toothpicks for my designs. I feel like I have more control.

Now that I've had more experience and have been working more with polishes, I'm going to try these again, ESPECIALLY for the release of Despicable Me 2 in 2013.  Yes, I am planning a mani for 2013 already and it isn't even summer 2012 yet.  I doubt I'll be able to wait that long, so when another teaser trailer is released for the movie, the little guys will most likely be going right back on my nails.

So, what do you all think?  Good first attempt??

Rubber Ducky, You're the One

12:51:00 AM

I sat down to paint my nails, looked at the clock, and realized it was about 12:15am.  As much as I would love to paint them right now, I am beyond exhausted and don't want to wait for them to dry.  The other night though, I somehow got a second wind and decided I had to paint my nails.  I sat down around this same time and started starring at all my polishes.

I wanted something blue on my nails, I knew that much for sure.  I grabbed my bottle of Color Club Blue Light and attempted to open it, and again, had no luck.  I have a feeling that bottle is forever stuck closed which is depressing because it is the prettiest sky blue ever.  I really need to find one of those rubber bottle opener things.  I then grabbed the next best thing, which was Funky Fingers Zeppelin which is a foil baby blue.

Once I had the pretty metallicy blue on my nails, I had no clue what to do.  On my thumb I started to do a cloud, hated it, took it off and again was back to square one.  Then I remembered this video from CutePolish's youtube page.  A cute rubber ducky nail that I wanted to do awhile ago.  So at 12:30am, I began putting little ducks on my nails.  And here is what I came up with.....

Cute right?  Instead of exactly copying cutepolish and putting ducks on just one nail, I went all out.

Colors Used:
  • Funky Fingers Zeppelin - foil blue base
  • Sinful Colors Let's Meet - duckies bodies!
  • Zoya Lianne - orange beaks
  • Sinful Colors Black On Black - eyes
  • Marbled Dots
    • Sinful Colors Snow Me White
    • Sinful Colors Love Nails
    • Sinful Colors Midnight Blue
  • New York Color White Lights Glitter - a little glitter added to the bubbles
I beyond loved this manicure.  The marbled dots were so easy to do.  I copied what cutepolish did and put a dot of each color on a paper plate.  I then took my dotting tool and dunked it into each of the polishes.  I was skeptical it would work but it did amazingly!

I love Zeppelin, the base, for two reasons.  One, the color.  Two, it is an EXACT match to Color Club's Luminscient from the 2011 Foil Collection.  Funky Fingers is manufacturer by Forsythe Cosmetics.  Since I do not own the Color Club polish, I googled some pictures for you all to be the judge.

Side by side when you see them at the store they are the same.

This manicure has given me an idea for an Easter manicure.  Instead of duckies, I think I may attempt little Peeps.  What do you think?? good idea? bad??  Stay tuned to see if I actually go through with it! :)

Simple Dots

7:28:00 PM

I know, I know, I have not updated in a while.  I got a little side tracked with school, work, and life.  I still painted my nails, just was not updating the blog.  Well here I am with one of two updated posts.

As I may or may not have said in an earlier post, I typically paint my nails every three days.  Most of my manicures are intricate designs of some sort and they take me about 45 minutes to complete, so I like to keep them on as long as possible.  The third day mark is typically where the edges start to chip off or my nails start to grow out, and my OCD sets in and I need to repaint.  It upsets me when one of the designs chips in less than 24 hours.

After the tigers, I was rather lazy and un-creative.  I wanted to do something simple that if it chipped in less than 24 hours I would not be upset.  So why not a simple alternating dot pattern??

Colors Used:
  • Revlon Charming - pretty lavender purple
  • Sinful Colors Mint Apple - my favorite color ever, the pretty mint green
  • New York Color White Lights Glitter - because all manis deserve some form of glitter.
Originally, I was going to do a simple heart on each nail, but when I came to the conclusion I was too lazy to drag my dotting tool and create the heart, I opted for the dots.

Simple, cute, and a mani I can do with numerous colors when I feel lazy.

Yet another way to follow...
