The One With the Annual Christmas Light Strand Nail Art

9:00:00 AM

Good morning polished world!  How are you all doing on this fine Tuesday?  I had an awful nail painting night last night and was up for all hours and ended up with a disasticure.  Been a long time since I've used that term.  Disasticure was removed, simple manicure put on, and I'm still not happy.

I am happy though about today's design, which is the annual Christmas light nail art!  Each year I've done some sort of variation of the Christmas light strand.  Ever since I purchased Nine Zero Lacquer in Twinkle Lights, I've been doing the design on top of that.  This year is no different.

Let's take a look!

Colors Used:
  • Nine Zero Lacquer - Twinkle Lights
  • Acrylics
I love this holo polish with the cellophane glitters throughout.  Perfect polish for this manicure, and for the Christmas season.  Two coats and you have full coverage, but I cheated and put one coat of ORLY Mirrorball down before so I didn't use more polish than I had to.

One thing I forgot about this polish - it is a pain in the behind to remove.  What is it about glitter polishes that make them impossible to remove?!  Literally 20 plus minutes using gel remover.  Ugh.

What do you think?  Fan of this manicure?  Like this base coat??

Until next time, <3.
