The One With the Manicure that Looked Better in Person

Nothing to Disclose

Good morning Polished World!  Look at me blogging on time this week.  Mainly because I'm writing this post a few days in advance in hopes that I remember to update all my other social media accounts to stay current.  Odds are, I won't and will fail miserably and be back in the same cycle as the last month.  Work gets crazy, I can't help it.  Funny thing is, I spend some time on Instagram, but I'm literally just scrolling and not posting.  It's aimless really.  The worst is TikTok.....oh the hours I waste on that app.

Anyways, today's manicure is again, probably the most festive that I'm going to get for Valentine's Day, and seeing that it's only a pinkish toned polish, that's really not too festive.  As you can guess from the title, this manicure looked much better in person, and I'm hard core critiquing the photos as I'm writing this.  Here at The Little Canvas, I believe in sharing the fails, so you all can see that life isn't perfect and what Facebook and Instagram makes it to be, even when it comes to nail art.

Let's take a look!

Colors Used:
  • Precision Lacquer - Red Velvet Cupcake
  • Sally Hansen - Blacky O
So, I got the idea for this manicure off of a post from ORLY's Facebook.  Instead of using the ORLY polishes, which I already own, I decided to attempt it with another color.  I feel I would have liked this manicure more if I used the ORLY's but here we are.  It's not that I hated it though because of the polish.  Precision Lacquer Red Velvet Cupcake is wonderful.  Two coats and you have full coverage of this beautiful glitter - which is easy to remove.  An added plus for such an opaque glitter.

I think the main reason that I disliked it was because my lines were not straight or even at all.  I probably should have left my middle finger just plain glitter, but here we are.  It's okay, but as I said, looks better in person.

What do you think?  Anything you would change?

Well, we will see if I will sneak a Valentine's Day post in here somewhere.  At this point, it's not looking good.

Until next time, <3.
