Tigers!!!
8:50:00 PMI never know what to paint on my nails when I sit down to do so. It has become a process....what colors do I want to use, what "theme" do I want, do I want to go simple or difficult? I find myself then sitting on pinterest or searching blogs or ideas.
Last night, I took to twitter asking what I should do. Meg, from Let There be Lacquer tweeted back "teal shimmer :)" While I loved the idea, I really really really wanted to use one of my new polishes. I have so many that I have yet to try and I keep buying. I vow right now to go on a no buy for a few weeks (let's see how long that lasts). So after decided I wanted to use Zoya Lianne, came up with the idea to do a zebra. Then while tweeting it out with Meg, I realized orange + zebra = tigers!
Colors Used:
- Zoya Lianne - amazing orange base. You can't tell from the picture and the black, but it's so pretty and shimmery. Love it
- Sinful Colors - Snow Me White - used for the little faces. Bottom was applied with the actual brush, eyes created using a dotting tool.
- Sinful Colors - Black on Black - Stripes, eyes, nose, and mouth. The stripes/nose/mouth were applied using a tooth pick, and the eyes with a dotting too
- New York Color - White Lights Glitter - can't tell from the picture, but it is applied over the stripes :)

Aww, thats so nice of you! Hope your 'grandma' liked your nails!
ReplyDeleteI love these tigers! They are just so dang cute! The little faces look so friendly and not at all like they'd eat an infant's head, which I'm pretty sure regular tigers would. PS: did you know that Author R.L. Stine wrote a popular children’s book in 1995 titled Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes that depicted lawn gnomes as malicious pranksters prone to fits of violence towards children? There's a little gnome fact for you.
ReplyDeleteOh how I love reading all of your comments! I truly appreciate each and every single one!
