Pink Dry Brush Mani With Hard Candy Fairy Ball
9:00:00 AMI have been loving my penguin nails so much, that I have yet to take them off and create any Thanksgiving designs, which means I'm going to only have one this year. Since I am a bum and have yet to create a Thanksgiving design, it's time to dip into The Little Canvas vault and post a manicure that I keep forgetting to.
This one is not as old as some that have been in the vault. I did this manicure right after Halloween when I was tired of using greens and oranges. I decided it was time to use Hard Candy Fairy Ball, a baby pink and holo glitter polish. This polish was gifted to me and I kept forgetting to use it, so it was the right time.
Let's take a look!
Colors Used:
- Faby - Black is Black
- Sinful Colors - Snow Me White
- Zoya - various pinks (can't remember the names...oops)
- Hard Candy - Fairy Ball
Now if you know me, I'm not a huge fan of pink, yet I own zillions of pink polishes. I gravitate towards them, but I just never really wear them alone on my nail. They're always mixed with a blue or purple, but never have I really dedicated a whole manicure to just pinks. Well, that's a lie, maybe at Valentine's Day or when I did those pigs....but other than that, it's a combo manicure. After this manicure though, I'm a huge pink fan! Look at the glitter, look at the dry brush! It's just so awesome!
Fairy Ball is an awesome polish. It has just the right amount of glitter and base that it applies perfectly. I didn't have to dab any polish to fill in blank spots, it just all went where it needed to go. I think if it didn't have the holo flecks, it would have needed maybe a little placement. The holo is what made it awesome too. It was just so sparkly!
I love how the dry brush and glitter come together in this manicure. The light pink of the glitter really pulls the lighter pink out of the accents. I just love it.
What do you think? Fan of this manicure? Ever used any of the Hard Candy glitters?
I guess I should go figure out some Thanksgiving Manicures! Until next time, <3.
